Quick Facts: Location: Rockville, MD Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 03/08/2027 Shift: Monday - Friday, including call coverage (Night shifts 19:00 - 07:00) Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours/week Employment Type: Full-time locum Licensing/Certifications: Maryland license, DEA, CSR, Board Certification required Experience: Minimum 2 years interventional radiology experience (preferred) Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $4,680.00 Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure/state travel reimbursements, 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours, holiday pay (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas) at 1.5x, paid travel expenses Referral bonus program and dedicated 24/7 support team What You'll Do: Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures Conduct patient rounds and specialty consults Perform joint aspirations, thyroid biopsies, lumbar punctures, vein mapping, and dialysis graft interventions Read (remotely) vascular and CTA studies (less than 10% of workload) Respond to STAT procedures and emergent cases with a 15-minute response time Float between multiple facilities including outpatient and hospital settings Provide weekend call coverage approximately once every three weeks What You Need: Maryland medical license, DEA, and CSR Board certification in radiology with specialty in interventional radiology Minimum 2 years' experience in interventional radiology procedures Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Willingness to work flexible hours, including call Ability to read studies remotely and perform procedures efficiently About the Assignment: This full-time locum position offers a busy, engaging environment with approximately 10-15 procedures daily in the hospital and outpatient centers.
