ARRT MRI Technologist - Full Time Days

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist who is fully competent in performing all routine MRI procedures essential for diagnosing various diseases and conditions. This role requires a warm, patient-centered approach and the ability to work effectively with individuals across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Education

Candidates must be ARRT registered or hold an Associate in Applied Science degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). If not currently registered with ARRT, applicants must provide proof of application to sit for the MRI registry. Registration with ARRT is mandatory within one year of hire, or employment will be terminated.

Experience

One to two years of experience in MRI technology is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, manual dexterity, and visual acuity. Physical ability to assume awkward positions, respond swiftly to emergencies, stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend and lift, is required.

Requirements

Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is required and will be provided during orientation. The position may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials, so adherence to safety protocols is essential. Knowledge of growth and development stages is important to provide care tailored to patients' developmental needs.
