HOURS: APPROXIMATELY 12PM - 5PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

• Create a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where children feel valued and excited to learn.
• Plan and lead engaging, hands-on lessons and activities that support children's language, cognitive, social-emotional, and motor development.
• Teach foundational early learning skills, including colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and early literacy concepts.
• Foster children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independence through play-based and teacher-guided learning.
• Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety during classroom activities, outdoor play, and snack time.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
• Follow all Arizona state licensing regulations and Grow and Learn Preschool policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Director and teaching team to provide the highest quality care and education for every child.

• Must be 18 years of age or older .
• Minimum 6 months of preschool or licensed childcare experience .
• High school diploma or GED required. Coursework in Early Childhood Education (18 credit hours or more) is preferred and may satisfy Arizona teacher qualifications.
• Must obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card .
• Must successfully pass all required background checks.
• Must create an account with the Arizona Workforce Registry and complete all required Arizona DES training within the required timeframe.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification , or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Reliable, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
