About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on security professional to serve as a School Security Supervisor in the Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head areas. You will be responsible for overseeing security officers assigned to school campuses, ensuring consistent coverage, and stepping in to fill posts as needed.

This role follows a school-based schedule with occasional after-hours requirements for events. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and is comfortable working in an educational environment where professionalism and approachability are essential.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate security officers across school sites in the Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head areas
• Ensure all posts are staffed and officers are performing to standard
• Fill in at school sites as needed to maintain coverage
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with post orders and professional standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact between school administration and CSSI leadership
• Coach and mentor officers — address performance issues, reinforce expectations, and support professional development
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with school staff and emergency services as required
• Document shift activity, inspections, and incidents thoroughly

Schedule

This is a full-time position that primarily follows the school calendar and school hours. After-hours availability is required for school events as needed. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Must possess or be able to obtain a SC SLED Armed Security Officer Registration
• Clean criminal background and driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor — comfortable working in a school environment with students, faculty, and parents
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Law enforcement or military background
• Experience in school or campus security
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (current or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures in educational settings
