Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a part-time Occupational Therapist at a welcoming charter school located near Albuquerque, NM. This contract position provides the opportunity to work one-on-one with students and collaborate with a dedicated educational team. You'll support a manageable caseload of 18 students, ranging from PreK through 5th grade, making your expertise an invaluable resource for their growth and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico OT license and NMPED license (required)
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Comfort working on-site with PreK-5th grade students
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Adaptability and effective communication skills with educators and families
• Previous charter school experience or small-group caseload management is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions to PreK-5th grade students to enhance their functional performance in school activities
• Evaluate students and develop personalized goals and therapy plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students have the support they need
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation for compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations tailored to students’ unique needs
• Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment

Schedule and Details:

• On-site only, Monday through Thursday
• Assignment runs ASAP through June 11th
• Small charter environment with a close-knit community
• Manageable caseload of just 18 students
