Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Plainview, NY | Onsite Position

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Plainview, NY . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, quality control, and CNC programming, with the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and production systems

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased efficiency, and cost reduction

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product quality

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues

• Create and maintain work instructions, process flow diagrams, and other manufacturing documentation

• Manage manufacturing projects from conception through completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

• Train and support production employees on new processes, equipment, and procedures

• Utilize CAD software and engineering principles to support manufacturing operations

• Apply CNC programming knowledge to manufacturing and production processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred

• University program certificate and/or 2–4 years of related manufacturing experience or training may be considered

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems

• Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies

• Knowledge and proficiency in CNC programming

• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office

• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, engineering documents, and diagrams

• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment

Schedule: Full-Time
Work Location: Onsite – Plainview, NY

Pay Details: $38.50 to $48.00 per hour
