Commercial Title Officer - Hybrid

Job Summary First American is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to support commercial real estate transactions in Nashville. The role involves researching and underwriting title work, coordinating the title process, and interacting with clients. What You’ll Do Analyze records such as liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and property surveys to determine ownership and legal restrictions and verify legal description of property and completeness of records. Properly price commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees using the appropriate schedule of fees and charges. Review and approve documentation including deeds, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions. Select appropriate write‑ups for commitments and policies for both standard and extended coverage. In some regions, consult with attorneys to review search packages on matters that require escalation. High school diploma or equivalent. 3‑5 years of commercial title related experience.
