Mike Watson State Farm is seeking a motivated Account Manager to help grow our Melbourne office, backed by the strength and reputation of our long-established Highland agency. This is an outstanding opportunity for a sales-focused insurance professional who enjoys building lasting relationships, uncovering customer needs, and turning conversations into long-term business. Licensing Requirement
- Active Arkansas Property & Casualty license is required prior to your start date.
- Candidates currently completing their P&C license are encouraged to apply.
- We provide study materials, coaching, and full support throughout the licensing process to help you become licensed before your first day.
- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend personalized insurance solutions.
- Quote, present, and sell Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and lead follow-up.
- Cross-sell multiple product lines to better protect customers and grow the agency.
- Assist customers with policy updates, endorsements, billing questions, and account maintenance while delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency and state insurance requirements.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and production goals.
- Active Arkansas Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain it prior to employment.
- Sales-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and growing a book of business.
- Strong communication, consultative selling, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization and disciplined follow-up.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service while identifying opportunities to expand customer protection.
- Previous insurance, banking, retail, or consultative sales experience is preferred.
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses.
