Welder - 3rd shift

From local gyms to world-class championships, our equipment—and the people who build it—are trusted at every level of competition.The Welder will:Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and aluminumReview work orders and blueprints to determine required workSet up equipment including jig selection, gas pressure, wire speed, and amperagePerform welds according to specificationsInspect finished work for defects and accuracyMaintain a clean and safe work areaMove products to the next stage in productionSchedule: 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday), 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, with overtime as needed.Qualifications:Minimum 18 years of ageProven proficiency in TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and/or aluminumAbility to perform continuous welds up to 24 inches preferredAbility to read tape measureAbility to read and work from blueprints including understanding tolerancesAbility to take direction in written and oral EnglishAbility to pass a drug screen and work in a drug-free environmentPrimary responsibilities:Follow all safety procedures to protect self and othersAccept work orders, review prints, and determine work that needs to be performedSet up welds to include choosing correct jig and setting gas pressure, wire speed and amperagePerform welds per printsExamine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specificationsOccasionally weld around pipe up to 8 inchesPerform water-tight weldsClean up weld splatter from product and in work areaWheel products to next step in processJob Type: Full-timeSalary:$20–$25/hour + $2 shift differentialBonus eligible (up to 20% – paid bi-weekly and quarterly)Hourly positionBenefits: All full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Basic Life, voluntary life, and 401(k) match up to 6%.
