A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr Software Engineer

Title: Sr Software Engineer
Position type: Full Time - Contract
Duration:12 Months
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid-03 days onsite and 02 day Remote)

As a Sr Software Engineer, You will:

• Design, develop, and support data engineering solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Work on data modernization initiatives and improve existing platforms.
• Develop and maintain applications using Python.
• Create and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks using Jira.
• Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders.
• Contribute to DevOps and deployment activities using tools like Git and Jenkins.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Expertise in SQL Server and Pythonprogramming
• Experience with data engineering and data processing libraries such as Pandas.
• Experience building distributed applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Capital Markets domain.
• Understanding of Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk.
• Knowledge of derivatives, risk management, and financial data modeling.
• Exposure to GenAI and Agentic AI concepts.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $80/hr to $85/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
