Position Summary Customer Care Specialists are responsible for providing daily customer care support and ensuring that client issues are resolved promptly and effectively through phone, video calls, and/or email. This position also manages logistics activity, including purchasing transportation, tracking & tracing, invoicing, and defining client business requirements. Responsibilities Manage daily logistics activity of specified customers Serve as a service level expert to the clients they service Communicate with customers proactively via phone and email Manage shipments from entry to invoicing, including securing trucks, scheduling pick‑ups, procuring resources, auditing, and invoicing Review and analyze client reports to ensure accuracy and react as needed to exceptions Communicate with people at all levels within the company Perform other appropriate duties at the discretion of management Work with partner carriers on problem resolution Aim for customer satisfaction, retention, and growth Track and trace load exceptions Assist other teams; train new team members Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2‑year post‑secondary degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred Account manager experience; preferred experience in 3PL Excellent people and customer service skills Highly effective communication, problem‑solving, and negotiating skills Warehouse Management System experience preferred Maintain organization in a changing environment; ability to prioritize and reprioritize as needed Basic business/financial acumen; attention to detail Ability to properly rate shipments & negotiate rates with carriers Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to perform multiple concurrent duties Operate independently & interact with team regularly Benefits King offers a competitive benefit package that includes: medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Critical Illness, Accident, Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, 401k and PTO.
