Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful contract opportunity serving K-12 students as a dedicated Physical Therapist. This part-time, itinerant position offers an engaging mix of flexibility and meaningful work, ideal for someone passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in an educational environment.

You will work 25-30 hours per week and manage a district-wide caseload of approximately 20-23 students. Daily responsibilities span various school sites, supporting students across all grade levels with physical therapy services tailored to meet IEP goals and ensure accessibility and participation in school-based activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Active Physical Therapist license in California
• Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability for itinerant work across multiple sites
• Commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
• Excellent communication with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services across a K-12 caseload
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans according to student needs and IEPs
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Ensure all services meet California state regulations and standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
