Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Nurse ER Duration: 13 weeks Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3 Rochester, NY 14621 Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)/Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00) Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM, alternating with 11 AM – 11 PM Contract: 13 weeks Experience: First-time travelers accepted Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS required at submission) License: Active NY Single-State RN license required; pending license not accepted EPIC: Required Weekend: Every other weekend Holidays: Every other holiday, if needed Local Rule: No RNs within 75 miles Ratio: 1:5 Floating: Within skillset required RTO/Block: Submit requests with profile Call-Off: Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract Scrubs: Navy blue and white Equipment: Bair Hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient-handling equipment Required Clinical Skills: IV therapy, blood products, central line care, phlebotomy and IV vasopressors CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management Stroke, neuro-trauma, TBI and spinal cord injury Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management Adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma Triage and isolation precautions Note: PALS and TNCC appear in the heading, but the detailed certification requirements list only BLS, ACLS and NIHSS.
