Perfect for individuals passionate about primary care and eager to work in a collaborative environment focused on total population health management.Responsibilities– Greet and room patients for clinic visits, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience – Assist providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering vaccines – Support front office operations by scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient flow – Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems – Collaborate closely with clinic staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care – Conduct pre-employment physicals, post-offer assessments, and participate in health outreach initiatives – Support workplace wellness activities, including non-DOT drug testing and workers' compensation injury reportingRequired Skills– Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship experience – Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture procedures and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems – Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills with patients and staff – Effective computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently – Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to changing prioritiesAdditional Skills & Requirements– Certified Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred – Experience with vaccines, including immunizations, is highly desirable – Ability to see patients aged 3 and older – Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and availability for scheduled coverage in September through November – Passion for health education and outreach, with a commitment to making a difference in patients' lives – Experience in primary care, occupational health, or similar clinical environments is a plusMake a meaningful difference in patient lives by providing compassionate, skilled clinical support in a primary care setting.
