Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical for a travel contract assignment in Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as required

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours)
