Installation Team Leader

Relocation offered to qualified candidates. This position will be in Anchorage, AK.

We're looking for a hands-on leader to guide our installation team in Alaska. In this role, you'll plan, coordinate, and execute installation projects from kickoff to completion. You'll install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems; mentor and supervise field crews; ensure safety and quality; manage schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong customer and internal communications to deliver successful projects.

Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.

Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.

Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.

Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.

Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.

Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.

Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.

Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.

Manages installation teams on larger projects.

Coaches and mentors less experienced installers.

Remote travel required, using provided company vehicle and equipment.

Required: Some technical school training is a plus. 5+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated programming aptitude. Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings. Experience bending conduit. Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner. Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service. Proven leadership experience in installation or field operations. Hands on experience installing and programming various access, CCTV and burglar alarm systems; familiarity with IP video, door controllers, readers, alarm panels and related software.

Preferred, not required: Ccure Certification. Lenel certification.

Hiring hourly range: $36-46 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
