Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Bangor, ME, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins July 20, 2026 for a 13-week contract, with a weekly pay range of $2,081–$2,235 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am) in a hospital setting, caring for Medical-Surgical patients under the supervision of the Unit Director and aligned with the State of Maine Board of Nursing requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit, per Maine RN licensure and hospital policy
- Monitor patient conditions and telemetry as applicable; administer medications and treatments per plan of care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in handoffs, rounds, and call-bell response
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with licensure requirements, including BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire

Requirements
- Current Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Telemetry experience preferred
- MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled 3x12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting
