The Role Take the lead in an exciting growth opportunity as our Outside Sales Representative, working remotely with our Henderson, Nevada team to build CPE's presence across St. George, UT and surrounding markets. You'll have the autonomy to shape a high-potential territory, develop lasting customer partnerships, and make a visible impact as we expand. The ideal candidate lives in St. George or within a reasonable commuting distance. In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for selling pumps, filtration systems, and fluid-handling equipment, managing and growing a defined territory, and building long-term client relationships. Company-paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance. Ongoing training and career development. Key Responsibilities Prospect and close new business while expanding existing customer accounts. Promote CPE's rental equipment-including pumps and filtration systems-to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. Manage the full sales cycle: cold calling, quoting, site visits, presentations, and contract negotiation. Conduct weekly equipment demos (Tow-n-Shows) and monthly customer Lunch & Learns. Provide consistent follow-up, weekly sales reporting, and active call tracking. Host and participate in sales blitzes focused on target accounts and territories. Stay active in trade associations and attend monthly networking events and trade shows. Support after-hours/emergency sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and up time. Coordinate with internal stakeholders including branch managers and operations teams. Maintain a well-branded company vehicle stocked with up-to-date sales collateral. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of B2B sales experience in rental equipment, industrial services, or construction equipment. Specific experience selling pumps, filtration systems, or related equipment is strongly preferred. Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets. Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently.
