Details Acute care hospital setting within a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 500 staffed beds CT Scan unit serving adult patients across acute care, emergency department, and ICU settings Procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest, head and neck, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), and musculoskeletal trauma imaging Equipment includes Siemens CT scanners and PACS Epic EMR — experience required 4x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with variable days of the week 2 on-call shifts required per month Floating within the hospital within clinical scope is required Block scheduling is not available Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required; candidates with less than 2 years may be considered if they have Level I Trauma experience Siemens CT scanner experience is required — hard stop ARRT (R) and BLS required; ARRT (CT) preferred Active WA Radiology license required — license required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Proficiency with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT protocols Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media required Peripheral IV insertion experience preferred Experience in a teaching hospital and Level I Trauma setting preferred COVID vaccination and booster required — no exceptions 2 supervisory references required for consideration Additional Information Perform a broad range of CT imaging studies including trauma, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and contrast‑enhanced studies across multiple body regions First‑time travelers are welcome to apply Prior UW staff must have an 18‑month separation from the facility before being eligible to return as a traveler RTO cannot be accommodated during the first 2 weeks of the assignment and should be kept to a minimum throughout Non‑billable facility orientation modules estimated at 2–3 hours, completed prior to start Any criminal background hits must be disclosed at time of consideration Scrubs in any solid color are acceptable; light blue scrubs are also provided on the unit Onsite parking is available for a daily fee; an offsite parking option is also available at $10/day via a shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes, 5:00 AM–10:00 PM Monday–Friday (weekdays only, not available nights, weekends, or holidays) American Traveler Job ID #P-724935.
