We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shower Aide to join our team at Westview Nursing Home, a 60-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Center, MO. As a Shower Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

• Help residents get in and out of the shower or tub safely

• Wash, dry, and assist with grooming, hair care, and dressing

• Check water temperature before and during the shower to prevent burns

• Watch the skin for cuts, redness, or sores and report changes to nurses

• Use transfer belts, shower chairs, or lift equipment safely

• Clean and disinfect the shower room after each use

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to our residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in all interactions with residents and colleagues
