Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and orthopedic caseload expertise for a critical access, Magnet hospital setting. Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required BLS certification required IL state PT license required and must be active and in hand prior to application (license required if applicable) Manual Therapy certification required; Dry Needling preferred Outpatient clinic and orthopedic case experience required Experience with adaptive/assistive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, body mechanics, pain assessment, sensory response, skin integrity, strength testing, and vital signs Experience with orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, cervicalgia, DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, gait training, hip/knee injuries, low back pain, sciatica, spinal conditions, and joint replacements Post-stroke rehabilitation experience required Experience with modalities including cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, TENS, and ultrasound Documentation experience including assessment, discharge, evaluation, long/short term goals, and plan of care Billing experience with Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare A/B, Private Pay, and Worker's Compensation Experience with crutches, gait belts, walkers, and shoulder slings Knowledge of home exercise programs, patient/family education, and safety/injury prevention First-time travelers accepted Responsibilities Outpatient clinic setting within a critical access, Magnet hospital Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with some flexibility available No weekend or on-call requirements No floating required outside of the PT Outpatient unit Uses Cerner EMR (experience preferred) Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating orthopedic outpatient cases using a range of manual therapy and modality techniques Business casual attire or plain solid scrubs required Free parking available in unrestricted spaces Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays RTO ideally limited to 5 days or fewer Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction Previous PERM or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler Candidates must be able to arrive in IL at least 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting compliance Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr
