Investor Relations Associate

Job TitleResponsibilities:Respond to inquiries from investors, fund management and accounting staffInput investor information in company systems and investor filesReview work of junior associates and other team membersImplement projects related to new legislation or other relevant department initiativesProvide guidance and expertise to junior staffDistribute offering documents on behalf of clientsPrepare and track private equity capital call and distribution noticesReview letters and database entriesReview and process subscriptions and redemptions of capital for existing documents and other legal documents pertinent to the fundMaintain routine correspondence with fund management and investorsDistribute investor statementsComplete underlying investment documents for fund of fund clientsPrepare reports for fund managementPrepare monthly summary report for fund management regarding new capital, additional capital and redemptionsComplete preparation as needed for the annual audit of fundsDistribute audited financial statements and K1 reportsAssist in completion of investor audit requestsQualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or related field3-5 years of experience in a fund administration or other financial services firm preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to assist in the development and training of staffAbility to multitask; excellent written and oral communication, organization, time management, planning and problem solving skills requiredAbility to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workersAbility to meet approved schedules and deadlinesUltimus Leverpoint is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of the applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, citizenship or any other status entitled to protection under federal, state or local anti-discrimination laws.
