This role is focused on providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The PICU specializes in various procedures, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel

• Provide direct patient care in a PICU setting
• Manage cleft palate repairs, appendectomies, and chest tube management
• Conduct lumbar punctures and manage seizures
• Assist with thoracic cases including thoracotomy/thoracoscopy and pectus bar implants
• Collaborate with neuro, ortho, and general surgery teams

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech
