Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team dedicated to providing top-notch care. You will employ cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct critical diagnostic procedures, engage with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and offer reassurance to patients through precise imaging insights. Description of Responsibilities
- Execute a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, delivering clear and compassionate explanations
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any challenges encountered
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patients' electronic medical records
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
