Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Location - Cleveland, OH

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Candidates must have recent ICU experience and be comfortable floating between ICU units and ED holds as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 Months of Recent Critical Care/ICU Experience
• Minimum 18 Months of Permanent ICU Experience
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License (Required at Submission)

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS Preferred

Floating Requirements

• Must be willing to float to all three ICU units
• May float to Emergency Department hold patients as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to high-acuity ICU patients
• Perform advanced patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to evidence-based critical care practices and patient safety standards
