Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician
Location: Wilson NC 27893
Duration: 07/06/2026 to 07/05/2027
Notes from Manager:
- Role is 100% onsite in Wilson, NC, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm for the rest of 2026
- The role might shift into a possible 2nd shift or night shift in 2027
- This position is an Associate Manufacturing Technician
- Will be working with Manufacturing Technicians
- Will work on SOPs, and work instructions
- Will help or assist with equipment
- Will learn how alarms work
- Could have "minimal travel" - domestic, if any travel at all
- Will be working in construction area in 2027
- Must have previous GMP experience/knowledge
- Must have at least 1 previous year of experience
- Candidates that have knowledge of "chromatography" is very helpful
- Candidates that have continuous improvement experience is also very helpful
- SAP is very helpful
- Prior experience with Batch Records, preferred
Will shortlist before the end of the day on 6/18 or 6/19
Description:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing manufacturing procedures and the execution of scheduled tasks within a GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Responsible for quality and maintaining the highest standards in compliance and safety within company policies, procedures and all applicable regulations in alignment with the Site Vision.
Independently execute manufacturing or manufacturing-support processes according to standard operating procedures and current curriculum.
Accurately complete documentation in SOP’s, logbooks and other GMP documents and/or systems.
This position requires the ability to work collaboratively and independently, time management, orientation towards action & solutions, ability to learn, and the ability to communicate & understand others.
Execute technical processes in assigned areas.
- Maintain equipment and instruments.
- Accountable for maintaining a working knowledge of basic cGMP requirements to ensure adherence to compliance policies and regulations.
- Support schedule adjustments to meet production, material receipt and shipping requirements.
- Retrieve and analyze trend charts and process data on trained procedures.
- Verify and enter production parameters per SOP and Batch Records.
- Demonstrate training progression through assigned curriculum.
- Support the ongoing production schedule by reporting to work on-time and according to the shift schedule.
- Ensure materials are available for production.
- Attend departmental and other scheduled meetings.
Accountability for quality, safety and compliance in GMP environment.
- Wear the appropriate PPE when working in manufacturing and other hazardous working environments.
- Proactively maintain a clean and safe work environment. Take necessary action to eliminate safety hazards and communicate to others any observed unsafe behaviors
- Adhere to the safety code of Conduct & Client EHS policies and attend all required EHS training.
- Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA and OSHA.
- Offer suggestions and follow up on process improvements related to safety, compliance, cost, yield and productivity.
- Responsible for audit preparation and participation
Provide ideas for continuous improvement & foster a sense of curiosity.
- Champions programs and initiatives that support our business, environment and communities
- Review and understand non-conformances
- Learn new skills, procedures and processes as assigned by management and continue to develop professionally.

Minimum Qualification:
- 0-3 years or more with trade school equivalent
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Follow instructions.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Working knowledge of cGMP's in a biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships, collaborate effectively, and work well within a team while treating others with dignity and respect.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic supply chain environment, with the ability to act quickly and with accountability to meet organizational goals.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to thrive in a multi-cultural and matrixed environment.
- Maintain high ethical standards and integrity through Credo-based actions.
Other Requirements
- Needs to be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
- Is frequently required to communicate with coworkers.
- Needs to perform gowning procedures in applicable areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach with hand and arms for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs.
Associate Technician (S-1 PG 21)
Years of Experience:0-3 years
Education: Trade School or Equivalent
- Operates as a beginner
- Reads applicable SOPs & has a basic understanding of the process.
- Operates most equipment and processes independently, with some more complex tasks requiring supervision.
- Understands & can complete necessary safety checks for the area.
