A multinational company with a facility in the Sterling Heights, MI area is currently seeking a early career / Junior EHS Engineer for their manufacturing facility. Qualified candidates will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:
- 6 months+ of recent/relevant experience in an EHS role in an industrial/manufacturing environment, internships welcome!
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state/federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Experience conducting/assisting with safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives.
- Ability to develop and implement EHS programs, provide employee training, and partner with operations to drive a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field is essential.
- Must be able to work in the US- no sponsorship is available.
- Must be able to complete pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
