Director, Federal Government Affairs

Director-level position leading federal government affairs strategy and stakeholder engagement for a biopharmaceutical company. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic federal advocacy plans for patient access and innovation priorities
- Lead engagement with legislators, administration officials, and regulators to shape policy outcomes
- Monitor policy developments and provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders
- Partner with policy leads to align federal implications with business objectives
- Support advocacy materials development including talking points and leadership memoranda
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in public policy, law, political science, or related field
- Minimum 10 years in Congress, regulatory/policy advocacy, or government relations
- Strong understanding of government affairs, public policy, and healthcare landscape
- Knowledge of biopharmaceutical sector policies and health care system
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for complex policy issues
- Proven strategy and execution skills with collaborative track record
Compensation: $216,100 - $360,200 base
