Position Highlights

  • Department: Pharmacy
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 1st Shift, Days

Position Summary

Perform various functions on a rotational basis relating to the preparing and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, under the supervision of the pharmacist to assist the pharmacist in attaining the goals of the Pharmacy Department

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of a ASHP Accredited Technician Program and/or holds a National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Should be registered in or eligible for registration in the State of CT as Pharmacy technician.
  • Experience with computers, mathematical calculations, medication nomenclature, and aseptic technique for IV admixtures required.
  • An associate degree in Pharmacy Technology or sciences preferred.
