This position offers a salary range of $67,000 to $72,000. Actual pay will be based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Thom Child & Family Services located in West Newbury, MA is seeking licensed Occupational Therapist/OT to join their team. As an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist/Clinician , you will be responsible for providing home and community based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families in both their homes and community settings. You will partner with parents/caregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful for the family, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Through this collaborative process you ensure families' priorities, needs, culture, and values are prioritized. Thom Child & Family Services offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to: Compensation & Benefits * Salary range: $67,000-$72,000 , based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience * Productivity bonus opportunities * Mileage reimbursement * 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Schedule & Paid Time Off * Flexible FT, PT, Per Diem, and flexible hours * Monday-Friday schedule, generally between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. * Generous vacation time * 96 hours of sick time annually * 12 paid holidays * Up to 24 hours of professional development/conference time annually Health & Insurance Benefits * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Fitness benefits and wellness incentive program * Employer-sponsored Health Reimbursement Account * Section 125 flexible benefits plan for medical and dependent care expenses * Employer-paid long-term disability insurance * Employer-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Optional coverage is also available, including: * Short-term disability insurance * Accident insurance * Cancer insurance Professional Support & Development * Paid professional license renewal fees * Clinical supervision and structured orientation * Ongoing mentoring and team support * Scholarship opportunities through the Fazzio Scholarship and Thom Academy Tools Provided * Employer-issued laptop * Employer-issued cell phone Position Responsibilities: * Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client's developmental status. * Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress. * Provide child and family centered services and activities developmentally appropriate for children birth to three and their families using parent coaching model. * Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan for each family, ensuring that appropriate procedures and timelines are followed. * Partner with families in the development of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to identify goals, objectives, and strategies related to the child's development. * Facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child's development; assist families to act as advocates for their child. * Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as appropriate using the Thom electronic documentation system. * Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or who are at risk for delays in the areas of cognition, adaptive behavior, social-emotional development, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication. Position Requirements: * Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions * Experience with infants, toddlers and families is preferred * Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development. * Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners. * Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services. * Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. * Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards. * Good computer skills as well as strong documentation skills. * Current driver's license and reliable transportation. * Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.
