About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ALS Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: Unit Information: - The unit consists of 25 inpatient beds, with the capacity to accommodate up to 27 patients with additional holds. - Staffing includes a Day Shift Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs, and 2-3 PCTs/HUC on days. - Night Shift includes a Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs, and 2-3 PCTs with house supervision every night. - Patient ratios and typical equipment utilized include BiPAP, Vapotherm, lifts, Baxter pumps, and telemetry/continuous oxygen. - The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Skill Set Most Recruited For: - Must possess telemetry experience. Preferred Skills: - ICU experience is preferred. Typical Procedures Performed: - Wound care is regularly performed in the unit. Best Personality Fit: - Team-oriented with strong communication skills is essential. Floating Area(s): - Flexibility with scheduling and a willingness to rotate weekends is required. General Comments: - The reason for position creation is for contractor replacement.
