Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services, adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This role involves delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services for both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Assist in the insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Perform blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT or CRT certification.
• Must have an active Ohio RT license.
• ACLS & BLS certifications are required (must be through the American Heart Association).

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 18:00 to 06:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for approximately 13 weeks.
