Grote Automotive is looking for a motivated, friendly, and driven Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our growing team in Elkhart, IN.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and wants a career with real earning potential. Automotive experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to succeed.

As an Entry-Level Sales Representative, you’ll help customers through every step of the car-buying process — from understanding their needs, showing vehicles, answering questions, arranging test drives, and helping create a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish.

$50,000 - $75,000 yearly

• Welcome and assist customers with professionalism, enthusiasm, and exceptional service
• Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, budget, and vehicle preferences
• Showcase vehicle features, benefits, and available options through informative presentations and demonstrations
• Coordinate and conduct test drives to help customers find the right vehicle
• Proactively follow up with prospects, scheduled appointments, and existing customers via phone, text, and email
• Collaborate with sales managers and finance team members to provide a seamless purchasing experience
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, energetic attitude with a desire to learn and grow
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Strong ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and phone technology
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
