Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, along with excellent communication and sales skills to effectively upsell services.

Duties

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Provide detailed explanations of services required, including vehicle maintenance and repair options.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to accurately estimate costs for repairs and maintenance.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Experience

• Previous experience in automotive service or as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and general mechanical knowledge.
• Proven track record in upselling services and managing customer relationships effectively.
• Experience with auto estimating and cash handling is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
