Job Summary

Vascular Sonographer position specializing in ultrasound imaging and vascular studies. The role performs general ultrasound, obstetric, small-parts, and upper and lower venous and arterial vascular examinations in a fast-paced setting. The position includes rotating 12-hour shifts, weekend coverage, and holiday rotation as scheduled.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; West Virginia license; WV CARES required before start; American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification; obstetric and arterial extremity Doppler experience; minimum one year of experience.
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week; shifts may be scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; every-other-weekend coverage and holiday rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs approximately 35 studies per day across three ultrasound rooms. Clinical duties include general ultrasound, obstetric imaging, small-parts imaging, upper and lower venous and arterial vascular studies, and intravenous starts. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment and includes five orientation shifts with a preceptor.
