NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team in Aurora. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will lead a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff, driving efficiency and innovation in our culinary offerings. With a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, we are committed to rewarding your dedication and hard work in the thriving restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
- Oversee inventory management and food ordering processes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
- Develop and update menu items in collaboration with culinary team
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
Requirements
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Proven experience in kitchen management or culinary leadership
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for food and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
