Receiving Clerk Opportunity

The Osborn is a historic, nonprofit senior living community known for excellence, compassion, and service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Clerk to support our Purchasing and Finance team and help keep our campus running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring supplies and deliveries are accurately received, tracked, and distributed across our campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition
• Sign for and manage deliveries from UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other vendors (including resident packages)
• Enter received goods into the system and maintain accurate records
• Stock and organize supplies in designated storage areas
• Deliver supplies and packages to departments across campus, including Skilled Nursing
• Log distributions using computerized systems
• Deliver and track copy paper usage across assigned departments
• Plan daily workload to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently

Purchasing Support (Backup):

• Assist with ordering supplies as authorized
• Help ensure critical supplies remain stocked
• Support cost-effective purchasing and alternate vendor sourcing

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in receiving, purchasing, or healthcare supply distribution preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer and Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Professional, courteous, and customer-service oriented
• Positive attitude with strong integrity

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the building for extended periods
