Customer Service Representative NEEDED : Columbus MS 8a-5p M-F $15, Benefits offered after hired. READ job description/requirements THOROUGHLY

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person (showroom/walk-ins)

• Guide clients through the selection process for headstones, monuments, markers, vases, and custom engraving options

• Process orders accurately, including measurements, designs, materials (granite, bronze, etc.), and personalization details

• Coordinate with production, design, shipping/installation teams to meet deadlines

• Maintain detailed records in CRM or order management system (e.g., customer preferences, approvals, changes)

• Provide updates on order status and resolve issues or delays with empathy and efficiency

• Assist with billing, payments, warranties, and after-sales support

• Collaborate with funeral directors and cemetery staff on memorial projects

• Uphold strict confidentiality and sensitivity regarding client information

• Support showroom displays, photos, and marketing materials as needed

• Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals and contribute to team targets

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant certification preferred

• 1-3 years of customer service experience (funeral services, monument sales, manufacturing, or high-touch retail a strong plus)

• Excellent communication skills-clear, empathetic, and professional, especially in sensitive situations

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic CRM/order software

• Ability to read blueprints, design proofs, or basic product specifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (occasional local deliveries or site visits may be required)

• Comfort working with diverse clients and in a manufacturing environment

• Background in sales, design, or logistics is a plus

Physical & Work Environment

• Primarily office/showroom with occasional time on the production floor or at installation sites

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand/walk as needed
