SALES MANAGER

Custom Interiors Carpet One is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our flooring and kitchen & bath design teams in our Hutchinson, MN showroom. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, driving sales performance, building customer relationships, and setting the standard for exceptional client experiences. For more than 23 years, we've been proud to serve the Hutchinson community as a trusted local flooring expert, and we're looking for a leader who wants to help build on that legacy while growing a strong, successful team.

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 (based on experience)

Commission + Monthly & Quarterly Performance Based Bonuses

Earning potential of $95K to $120K+ annually

Full Time: 40+ hrs./5-day work week

Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities:

Partner with ownership to drive showroom performance, profitability and strategic growth.

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team through accountability and continuous development.

Oversee daily showroom operations, staffing, merchandising and sales performance.

Align sales, operations and inventory to ensure exceptional project execution.

Set the standard for the sales team by actively engaging with clients, providing product recommendations, taking measurements, and confidently closing sales.

Serve as the team's product and systems expert, guiding informed decisions and sales success.

Ensure project accuracy and quality from initial sale through final installation.

Build lasting relationships with customers, vendors, installers, and referral partners.

Identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and community engagement.

Improve operational efficiency by optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement.

Resolve complex customer and project issues with professionalism and solutions-focused approach.

Maintain exceptional showroom standards that reflect the brand and customer experience.

What We're Looking For :

5+ consecutive years' proven work experience as a Flooring Retail Manager, Home Improvement Sales Manager, Kitchen & Bath Showroom Manager, Design Sales Manager, or similar role

Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)

Able to pass a background check (REQUIRED)

Knowledge of the Flooring and Kitchen & Bath industry highly desired

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & CRM platforms

Personal & professional ethics

Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business

Leadership skills & ability to delegate effectively

Ability to set sales targets & achieve them effectively

Analytical skills to identify trends & sales patterns

Organizational skills & ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality

Time management skills & detailed oriented

Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities

Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills

Knowledge of general POS or EOS software is a plus, but not required - willing to train
