HR Generalist / Recruiter

DisruptiX Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing construction / engineering organization in Orange County that is looking to add a hands-on HR Generalist / Recruiter to their team. This is a highly visible role supporting approximately 200 employees and working closely with executive leadership on both recruiting initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. The company has a long-tenured leadership team, strong employee retention and an operationally driven culture where adaptability and responsiveness are highly valued. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing recruiting, employee relations, onboarding and general HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle recruiting for both field and corporate positions Partner with leadership on hiring needs and workforce planning Manage onboarding process from offer stage through new hire integration Serve as a go-to resource for employee relations and day-to-day HR support Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation Support HR compliance initiatives within a construction / union environment Assist with special projects and executive recruiting initiatives as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of HR Generalist and/or Recruiting experience Strong full-cycle recruiting background required Experience supporting blue-collar, field, manufacturing, construction, engineering, trades, or union environments strongly preferred Comfortable operating in a fast-moving and hands-on environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to balance structure with flexibility and operate independently Preferred Backgrounds: Construction Electrical / Mechanical Contractors Manufacturing Trades / Union Environments Medical benefits including fully covered Kaiser option for employee + family 401(k) with company match Stable and growing organization with long-tenured leadership team This is a fully onsite position based in Fullerton, CA.
