Outside Sales Consultant / Senior Moving Consultant

At 2 College Brothers Moving & Storage, our MC2s aren't sitting behind a desk waiting for leads to come in. They're out in the community, building relationships, conducting onsite consultations, solving problems, and helping families and businesses confidently navigate major moves. Every day is different. One morning you might be walking a 4 bedroom family home preparing a relocation plan. That afternoon you could be meeting with a property manager, visiting a senior living community, or helping a business owner coordinate a complex commercial move.

This role requires a unique combination of sales ability, project management, organization, and genuine care for people. Our customers are trusting us with their homes, their businesses, their belongings, and often some of the most stressful transitions of their lives. Building that trust is everything.

This is not an entry-level sales role.

We're looking for someone who is naturally personable, highly organized, professional, and capable of managing multiple moving pieces at once. Someone who enjoys creating structure from chaos, following up consistently, planning ahead, and taking ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting in-home and onsite estimates throughout the Tampa Bay area
• Managing large residential, interstate, commercial, and specialty moving projects
• Scheduling and coordinating your own appointments
• Building relationships with referral partners and community contacts
• Following up with prospects and managing a healthy sales pipeline
• Creating detailed moving plans and project scopes
• Working closely with operations to ensure successful execution
• Serving as a trusted advisor throughout the customer's moving journey

Types of Projects You'll Handle

• Interstate and long-distance relocations
• Multi-day moving projects
• Commercial and office moves
• Large residential moves
• Full-service packing projects
• Storage-related projects
• Specialty and high-value moves

These opportunities often involve longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, detailed planning, and ongoing communication from start to finish.

Compensation Structure

This position utilizes a commission draw compensation model designed to provide both stability and opportunity. Consultants receive a weekly draw against future commissions, allowing you to focus on building relationships, managing projects, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while you grow your pipeline.
