Job Purpose Under the direction of the Senior Psychiatrist, the Staff Psychiatric will be a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team providing general population outpatient services to inmates. The team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric social workers assigned to a service area. Key Responsibilities Perform psychiatric evaluations and case reviews. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy. Consult and train clinical and custody staff. Participate in treatment planning and case management. Compensation and Benefits Eligible for a 15% monthly pay differential for direct patient care. Recruitment and retention bonuses may be available.
