Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiologic Technology, or a related field. ARRT certification is preferred. This role requires expertise in operating MRI equipment, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with physicians to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI environment
• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members to support diagnostic imaging needs
• Accurately document procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide patient care as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and MRI screening procedures

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in MRI, Radiologic Technology, or related field
• MRI experience required
• ARRT certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

- 2 years experience - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - MUST HAVE GE or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED - Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting Specific equipment they must be familiar with: All Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.
