Insurance defense paralegal

To meet growing client demands, we are actively expanding their team and searching for Trial-Ready Litigation Paralegals. Here, paralegals play a vital role on our case teams and are deeply respected for their ideas, insights, and contributions.

salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Documentation: Prepare, edit, and proofread a wide variety of legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
• Case Management: Work proactively with attorneys to keep litigation advancing. Take the initiative to regularly update team members on case statuses and alert attorneys to critical client and case needs.
• Discovery Mastery: Assist attorneys with all phases of discovery, including drafting discovery requests, preparing for depositions, and issuing subpoenas.
• Document Review: Assist with extensive document review and analysis utilizing various eDiscovery platforms.
• Electronic File Management: Maintain and manage electronic case files using our document management system (iManage) to ensure information is highly organized and easily accessible.
• Trial Preparation & Attendance: Compile trial materials, coordinate witnesses, prepare and issue trial subpoenas, manage exhibits, and travel to attend and support trials nationwide.
• Medical Analysis: Gather, review, and analyze complex medical records to prepare detailed medical chronologies.
