SUMMARY
The financial reporting analyst is responsible for a wide range of activities including gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations, and generating Excel models, presentations, and reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support month-end related activities including management reporting and various monthly departmental reports
- Support planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting
- Support P&L/Bal Sheet/Capex variance analysis by working closely with other finance team members and other stakeholders to provide meaningful insights
- Support overhead and capex cost control activities
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to obtain required inputs for all submissions (actual/forecast/budget/adhoc)
- Ensure timely and accurate deliverables including reporting, forecasting/budgeting, and analysis
- Support process improvement projects using Business Intelligence tools or forecasting tools or such similar platforms as assigned
- Support cross functional projects relating to new business developments, cost control or any ad-hoc commercial decision support
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Associate's degree in accounting or other finance related field.
- Experience
- 3 years of accounting and finance-related experience in a dynamic and fast paced organization
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, forecasting tool, and/or SAP/ERP systems

- Economics and Accounting Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

- Administrative Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
