You will also prepare beverages for other servers, act as cashier for the bar, and maintain proper set‑up of the bar, including requisitioning and stocking of beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet. You will be responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality. Greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner, you will promote and document orders for drinks, mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control. You will handle all cash and credit card transactions using the point of sale to create a check for each guest and maintain accountability of all beverages served. Does this sound like you? You have at least 6 months of experience as a bartender and hold your food handler and TIPS certification (or equivalent).
