Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exceptional opportunity awaits for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher seeking a full-time, contract position near Arvada, CO. This role focuses on supporting preschool-aged students with special needs in a collaborative and engaging school environment. The assignment is anticipated to run from 7/31/26 to 5/26/27, with a workload of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification in Early Childhood Special Education for the appropriate age range (see accepted credentials below)
• Experience with preschool-aged children, especially in special education settings
• Proficiency in conducting and interpreting standardized assessments for eligibility, as well as general education assessments in literacy and math
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with staff and families
• Ability to provide both in-class and pull-out services tailored to individual student needs
• Completion of a background check is required upon offer acceptance

Preferred Certification (One of the Following):

• Early Childhood Special Ed (birth through 8, Grades P3-2 only)
• Early Childhood Special Ed Specialist (birth through 8, Grades P3-2 only)
• Early Childhood Special Ed (birth through 5, Grade P3-K only)
• Early Childhood Special Ed (3 through 8, Grades P3-2 only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach, assess, and support a preschool caseload of up to 15 students
• Deliver specialized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Use Fridays as dedicated time for planning and team collaboration
• Engage in progress monitoring, family communication, and adapting interventions as needed
