Senior Financial Analyst
Emerge
Turn financial data into decisions that make a difference on the plant floor. In this role, you'll partner with teams across a manufacturing facility to strengthen forecasting, understand costs, and uncover opportunities to improve performance. You'll bring accuracy to the numbers-and clear, practical insights to the people who rely on them.
What you'll do- Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly flash reports, and departmental budgets.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, job costs, and key performance metrics, including raw material and labor costs.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis that helps operational leaders make informed decisions.
- Support the month-end close by preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Lead internal control testing, support SOX compliance, and assist with internal and external facility audits.
- Partner with teams across finance and operations to explain financial results and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in accounting or financial analysis; cost accounting experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data. Experience with ERP or enterprise tools such as Epicor, Oracle, or Hyperion is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to turn detailed findings into clear recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
