RN Telemetry

Shift: 12-hour Nights; 1900-0730; Days: 3 days per week; Weekend Rotation: Every Other

Contract Length: 13 Weeks; Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

License: RN in the state; Certifications: BLS; Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience; Skills: Experience with TR Band, cardiac drips (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process.

Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data. Administer medications and manage cardiac drips per protocols. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care. Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatments. Respond promptly to changing patient conditions and emergencies.

Orientation: Initial orientation will occur over several days at the facility. Credentialing: Background checks and lab work must be completed within specified timelines. Facility Policies: Comply with nicotine-free facility policies.
