Certified Surgical Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Epic experience
• IA Mandatory Reporter
• Spine proficiency
• Experience and proficiency in orthopedics
• Experience and proficiency in general surgery
• Experience and proficiency in robotics
• Experience and proficiency in ENT
• Experience and proficiency in gynecology
• Prior travel experience in the OR
• Active American Heart Association ACLS

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment.
• Start time is 6:15 a.m. most days and may vary based on caseload.
• Schedule is 5x8s for 40 hours per week.
• On-call coverage is required 8 to 10 days in a 6-week period after weekday shifts.
• Weekend call is required 4 to 5 days per month, Friday through Sunday.
• Holiday call is required.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Level 3 trauma center experience environment.
